Space Invaders developer releases iOS mob simulation Gang Connection in Japan

Space Invaders developer Taito's latest game is free-to-play mob management social title Gang Connection, published in Japan by social networking service GREE for iOS, reports Siliconera.

Players take on the role of a mob boss, recruiting new members for their gang and gradually wrestling control of the in-game world of Sunshine City. Similar to other social titles, players can arrange building placement in their own cities and complete specific missions to earn money and further their goal of expanding gang influence.

Players can also battle other gangs in "Gang Land War" combat events. Winners of these battles will receive in-game rewards and higher rankings among player-created gangs.
