Muramasa Rebirth coming to PlayStation Vita from Aksys Games
Publisher Aksys Games announced it plans to bring the updated PlayStation Vita port of Vanillaware's 2D role-playing game Muramasa: The Demon Blade to North America as Muramasa Rebirth.
Developer Marvelous AQL announced it would bring Muramasa: The Demon Blade, originally released for Wii in 2009, to PS Vita at last year's Tokyo Game Show. The Japanese version is planned for release on March 28, but the North American localization does not yet have a confirmed release date.
Muramasa for Vita will receive four additional playable characters through downloadable content and "a complete relocalization in English," according to Aksys.
A side-scrolling action RPG, Muramasa: The Demon Blade was originally published in North America by Ignition Entertainment to largely positive reviews.
