Earth Defense Force 2025 trailer shows some of the ways to protect the planet from giant robotic ants
Namco Bandai released a new trailer today for Earth Defense Force 2025, which is coming to Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 later this year.
The trailer shows the horror (and humor) of a robotic bug invasion in the year 2025 and the struggle of humans to battle the giant ants and spiders before they destroy civilization. The video also gives us our first look at the Wing Diver unit, a kind of jetpack that allows players to take the battle to the skies.
The game is known as Earth Defense 4 outside North America. A PS Vita entry in the series, Earth Defense Force 2017 Portable, was released in January.
