DC Comics-inspired fighting game Injustice: Gods Among Us will feature classic villains Bane and Lex Luthor as playable characters, NetherRealm Studios creative director Ed Boon confirmed on Twitter.

The two new characters were revealed in an image from a new issue of @Gamer magazine retweeted by Boon, featuring screenshots of the villains in question.

Bane and Lex Luthor join previously announced characters Batman, Superman, Cyborg, Wonder Woman, Harley Quinn, Solomon Grundy, The Joker, Green Lantern, Deathstroke, Flash and Green Arrow.
