Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 coming March 26, introduces LPGA and night settings to the franchise

Tiger Woods PGA Tour 14 will be available in North America on March 26 and worldwide on March 28 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, publisher Electronic Arts announced today.

For the first time in the Tiger Woods PGA Tour franchise, players can work their way through historical events in all four golf major championships: the Masters Tournament, U.S. Open, Open Championship and PGA Championship.

Players will also be given the opportunity to go head-to-head against nine golf greats in Legends of the Majors mode. Legends of the Majors takes players down a route of historical matches, pitting them again each era's golfing legends. These master challenges include games with Arnold Palmer, Ben Hogan, Bobby Jones, Gary Player, Jack Nicklaus, Sam Snead, Seve Ballesteros, Lee Trevino and Tiger Woods.

"This year's edition of the game delivers a collection of innovative golf features that provide players an unprecedented chance to rewrite the record books," said franchise vice president Mike Taramykin in a press release. "Players can earn legendary status by conquering the greatest legends of all time or challenge their friends on some of the world's most renowned courses."

Additional new features coming with PGA Tour 14 include the introduction of the Ladies Professional Golf Association — bringing female golfers onto the course for the Kraft Nabisco Championship — and night settings as well as an online multiplayer mode supporting up to 24 players.
