Defiance trailer shows players teaming up to take down enemies in co-op

Defiance players will have to learn to play nice and team up with their fellow fighters if they want to defeat certain brutal bosses, as demonstrated in a new trailer released by developer Trion Worlds today.

The latest footage for the tie-in MMO for the upcoming television series of the same name shows groups of players combining powers for more effective attacks, utilizing ground terrain vehicles and standing firm beside each other while charging opponents. To master the enemies of Defiance, players will have to learn to co-op if they want to "go jekkin' massive."

Defiance will premiere on the Syfy Channel on April 15. Trion Worlds' MMO is scheduled to launch alongside the show.
