Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze delayed to February 2014

Nintendo has delayed Donkey Kong Country: Tropical Freeze to February 2014, company president Satoru Iwata announced today during a Nintendo Direct presentation.

Nintendo said in August that it planned to launch Tropical Freeze on Dec. 6, 2013. In Europe, the game will now launch some time in 2014.

"In order to deliver the optimum gaming experience, we need a little more time for development of this title," said Iwata. "We would like to apologize for this delay, and hope you understand."
