Counter-Strike: GO now lets you watch top players compete

A new update to Counter-Strike: Global Offensive adds the option to let players watch live, in-progress matches being played by pros and highly-ranked players. On the official Counter-Strike blog, Valve calls the option an opportunity to "see how the highest ranked CS:GO players approach the game."

Counter-Strike: GO's new Watch menu also lets its players download and watch their personal match history to review highlights and learn from their mistakes. In GOTV Theater, players can watch a continuous stream of the best-of-the-best live matches.

The update also fixes a handful of in-game bugs and some GOTV quirks.

Valve also notes that Counter-Strike: Global Offensive's Operation Bravo promotion — a bundle of eight community-made maps and exclusive weapon skins — is currently 50 percent off. The sale runs through the weekend.
