'The Nightmare Before Christmas' invading LittleBigPlanet next week

The Nightmare Before Christmas Level Kit and Costume Pack are headed to LittleBigPlanet 2 and LittleBigPlanet PS Vita next week, LittleBigPlanet community coordinator Steven Isbell revealed today on the PlayStation Blog.

Just in time for Halloween, players will be able to hang out in a Halloween Town-inspired level and dress up their Sackboys as characters like Jack Skellington and Sally from The Nightmare Before Christmas. According to Isbell's response to a question in the blog post's comments, both the PlayStation 3 and PlayStation Vita versions will contain "the same creation goodies, but each level is its own unique trip to Halloween Town with the PS Vita version including some unique touch-based gameplay just for the PS Vita."

The LittleBigPlanet appearance is the second for The Nightmare Before Christmas' devious protagonist this month. In early October, Jack Skellington and his Halloween Town Toy Box mode arrived in Disney Infinity exclusively through GameStop. The Scare Master's action figure will be available for purchase at other retailers Oct. 29.
