Nintendo released a highlight reel of longtime Legend of Zelda producer Eiji Aonuma's speaking session from New York Comic Con.
The six-minute video briefly touches on the HD release of The Wind Waker and its new features — including the bottle messages on Miiverse, which Aonuma apparently reads every day.
Aonuma then shows off gameplay for A Link Between Worlds, the sequel to The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past. The team wanted to offer a different perspective of the game's world by switching between top-down and side-views. But transforming the 2D world of A Link to the Past was "not that simple," Aonuma said.
When Aonuma tried to transform a temple into 3D on his own, for example, the level became exaggerated and slanted — even Link himself.
