Diablo 3 has sold 14M copies across all platforms

Diablo 3 has sold more than 14 million copies over the span of its lifetime, Blizzard CEO Mike Morhaime said during an Activision Blizzard Q3 financial call today.

"We're pleased with the response to the game's launch on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360," Morhaime said. "Lifetime sell through of the game across all platforms has reached over 14 million copies, and reviews have been very positive about how the game plays on consoles."

Diablo 3 was released for Windows PC and Mac in 2012. It launched in September for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360. An expansion, Reaper of Souls, is expected for Windows PC, Mac and PlayStation 4 next year.
