Ni no Kuni gets free Draggle familiar on Feb. 12

Namco Bandai will release a free downloadable familiar for PlayStation 3 role-playing game Ni no Kuni: Wrath of the White Witch later this month, the publisher announced today.

The Draggle familiar with be available from the PlayStation Network starting Feb. 12 in North America.

"This domesticated dragon is a favorite family pet for its downright adorable eyes," reads a description of Draggle on the European PlayStation Store. "This pampered little fellow never has to hunt for itself, but owners should be aware that it can morph into a dragette, and then either a dragamuffin or bedraggle, and that it can use Phantom Fangs or Hot Huff to defend itself."

To bolster your enthusiasm for Ni no Kuni's release last week, Namco Bandai has also released a new trailer for the PS3 game.
