Tomb Raider minimates figures are based on the upcoming reboot

Diamond Select Toys is releasing six new Tomb Raider Minimate figures this summer, based on the upcoming reboot, the toy producer revealed at this year's Toy Fair.

The figurines will be sold as part of two-packs in comic and specialty retail shops. These will include a basic Lara Croft model, a Lara Croft with battle damage, Croft's mentor Conrad Roth, two enemy scavengers and a final hooded figure described by Diamond Select as a kind of priest.

Each of the figures, designed by The Art Asylum, comes with individual accessories ranging from a generic hatchet, a stylized hatchet seen previously in Tomb Raider concept art, a Molotov cocktail, as well as a shield and iron mask. These designs are currently pending licensor approval.

Tomb Raider is scheduled to release on March 5 for Xbox 360, PC and PlayStation 3.
