Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex coming to PC in 2014
Publisher Nexon will launch an online PC game based on the popular anime series Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex, scheduled to release in the first half of 2014, the company announced today.
Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex — currently its working title — is in development from Neople, a subsidiary of Nexon Korea best known for titles popular throughout Asia, ranging from Cyphers to Dungeon and Fighter.
Stand Alone Complex is a first-person shooter involving an ongoing battle between cyborg entities fighting over strategic resources throughout the game world. While dynamic gunfight will be the primary focus of the game's combat, Ghost in the Shell will also include concepts such as "cyberization" found in the original franchise, as well as a co-operative battle mode that brings together AI and the player.
