Wii Street U available now on eShop, free for a limited time

Wii Street U, the world-traveling app for Wii U which integrates Google Street view, is available today on the Wii U eShop, and will be free for a limited time.

The app allows users to explore Google's Street View maps in first-person using the Wii U GamePad as their lens into the world. Users can rotate and move the GamePad to look around the world, and move down streets and avenues that have been captured by Google's touring, photo-taking van.

Nintendo's Bill Trinen did not announce when the title would become a paid app, or how much it will cost when it does make that jump.
