Animal Crossing: New Leaf trailer shows a year of town management

Animal Crossing: New Leaf's latest trailer offers a soothing tour of the activities players will be able to participate in once the game launches on Nintendo 3DS June 9 — activities like fishing, shopping and fossil excavation.

The familiar gameplay elements are all back in the game's upcoming installment, which was given the June 9 North American release date during this morning's Nintendo Direct presentation. Other familiar settings in the trailer include the cafe, where a surly owl will serve players invigorating shots of espresso, and the player's customizable, expandable home.
