The Cave's lead designer discusses development influences, puzzles and a sandwich
In a video interview published today on Sega's blog, J.P. LeBreton, lead designer for The Cave, discusses his history with adventure games, how they influenced the game and, of course, a sandwich.
Check out the video above to see LeBreton, a veteran of the BioShock franchise, discuss how he helped design The Cave's many puzzles and how the team tried to keep them from being too confusing. Toward the end, he takes his best shot at figuring out what what kind of sandwich The Cave would be, if it were a sandwich. Or possibly a stew.
The Cave is available now to download on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3, Wii U, Windows and Mac. Last week, developer Double Fine Productions announced that it would bring the game to Ouya. For more on the modern adventure game, be sure to check out our review.
