Screenshots for Pokémon Rumble U, the third entry in the Rumble series that was announced last week, offer a brief glimpse at gameplay and selectable Pokémon.

Pokémon Rumble U will include 649 Pokémon for players to battle, with up to 100 fighting at once. The game will be a download-only title and is expected to support up to four in multiplayer.

Pokémon Rumble U is the first Pokémon title to be released on Wii U. The game is expected to launch in Japan this spring on the Wii U eShop, and release dates in other regions have not yet been announced. When contacted previously for comment, The Pokémon Company did not "have any official news to share at this time."
