Dragon's Crown trailer shows new signs of life for PlayStation Vita and PS3

We haven't heard much from VanillaWare's side-scrolling action RPG Dragon's Crown since Atlus announced it was assuming publishing duties of the PlayStation 3 and Vita game. Thankfully, the game made an appearance at this week's Vita Heaven event in Japan, offering a new look at Dragon's Crown in action.

The game's second trailer shows more of Dragon's Crown's most appealing components: beautifully illustrated 2D characters of extreme proportion; an impressive bestiary of dragons, demons and the undead; and four-player, hack-and-slash, magic-casting action.

The game's developers promise more information on the cross-platform title in March.

Dragon's Crown is slated for release on PlayStation 3 and PS Vita sometime in 2013.
