Lord of the Rings Online and Dungeons and Dragons Online players welcomed back with bonuses
Developer Turbine is welcoming back players of freemium MMO's Lord of the Rings Online and Dungeons and Dragons Online with an offer of in-game bonuses following a long period of server downtime causing both titles to go offline for over a day as part of global maintenance.
As an apology for these server woes, Turbine is offering those who play Lord of the Rings Online 100 percent more XP for each monster kill, as well as an increased drop rate for lootboxes until Feb. 26. This is in addition to the 250 Turbine Points offered to established players as compensation for the downtime.
Dungeons and Dragons Online users will also receive compensation in the form of +2 loot in chests, as well as +25 percent Heroic and Epic XP. These bonuses last throughout the end of today.
