Arcane Legends' Kraken Isles expansion brings characters, geography, levels and more to the mobile MMO

Arcane Legends, developer Spacetime Studios' mobile massively multiplayer online role-playing game, is set to receive an update today called Kraken Isles, which will bring new characters, geography and levels, according to a press release from the developer.

Kraken Isles will include the new areas for which the update is named and the ability to travel by ship. In keeping with the nautical theme, pirate bosses and foes join the game alongside collectible pirate-themed armors and weapons. Alongside the pirate booty, players will be able to use their in-game pets during player vs. player combat and can also collect new pets, including a toucan and a monkey. The developers have also increased the level cap by five points to 26.

A spiritual sequel to the developer's Pocket Legends, Spacetime launched the free-to-play mobile MMO last November on iOS and Android. The game tasks players with choosing and upgrading a character from three available classes, then fighting and collecting loot alongside their trusty pets.
