Guardians of Middle-earth gets new Survival mode with today's DLC
A new batch of DLC for Guardians of Middle-earth adds a cooperative "Survival" mode to the multiplayer online battle arena title, Warner Bros. Interactive announced today.
The mode allows players to team up and face off against wave after wave of AI-controlled foes, earning more and more points the longer they're able to stay alive. Players can choose any character they want as they wage war in the new mode, including DLC characters which can be purchased separately or as part of the game's Season Pass — a package which also incorporates the new mode. Also released today is an update for the single-lane map, allowing owners to dress up the battlefield like the Goblin-town seen in The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey.
The Survival mode DLC launches this week for $3.99 (or 320 Microsoft Points) on XBLA and PSN.
