League of Legends developer Riot Games opens Sydney studio

League of Legends developer Riot Games have opened up an Australian studio, according to its website.

The Sydney-based studio, officially dubbed Riot Games Sydney, will consist of marketing, eSports and community departments.

The studio's goal is to create "unique experiences on the web" and provide support to the flourishing Australasian League of Legends community.

Last November, Riot Games announced a new studio in Moscow for League of Legends Russia/CIS localization and community support for the region.

League of Legends launched on October, 2009 for Windows PC.
