Castlevania is coming to Nintendo 3DS and Wii platforms, according to a listing on the official Entertainment Software Rating Board.

The ESRB listing does not clarify whether this release refers to a remake of the original 1986 platformer title or the Nintendo 64 game that launched in 1999, however. We have contacted Nintendo for a clearer idea of what users can expect, and will update the post when further information is available.

A new 3DS installment in the franchise, Castlevania: Lords of Shadow — Mirror of Fate, is scheduled to hit on March 5 in North America.
