Age of Wonders 3 launching on PC this fall
Age of Wonders 3, the next installment in Triumph Studios' medieval strategy series, will launch this fall on Windows PCs, the developer announced today on the game's website.
As seen in the game's announcement trailer, posted above, Age of Wonders 3 incorporates RPG-esque classes for players to choose from and control. The title will feature a new 3D graphics engine which will allow players to view more detail on an increasingly busy battlefield — a view they'll need as they utilize Age of Wonders 3's new flanking system and "special unit abilities."
As with all Age of Wonders titles, the third game in the franchise will let players pick from a wide roster of playable races to either take part in one of two single-player campaigns or participate in multiplayer skirmishes. It will launch at retail and digital platforms like GOG and Steam sometime this fall.
