Sony Online Entertainment's annual community fan event, SOE Live 2013, will take place at Planet Hollywood Resort and Casino in Las Vegas on Aug. 1 to Aug. 4, 2013, the company announced today.

Attendees will have the opportunity to check out EverQuest Next, the upcoming title in the EverQuest franchise. Polygon reported on Sony Online Entertainment president, John Smedley, as saying that it will be the "largest sandbox-style MMO ever designed" and they're reinventing, to a degree, what an MMO AI is.

Other free-to-play titles at SOE Online 2013 will include DC Universe Online, Dragon's Prophet, EverQuest, EverQuest 2, Free Realms, PlanetSide 2, PoxNora, Star Wars: Clone Wars Adventures and Vanguard: Saga of Heroes.

SOE Live includes social events, developer panel discussions so gamers can offer their input on current and future game content, game-themed live events, new announcements, beta programs, tournaments, giveaways and more.
