Valve co-founder and president Gabe Newell opens the second day of the 2013 DICE Summit with his keynote talk, "A View on Next Steps," in which he's expected to touch on the future of Steam, PC gaming and the company's push into the living room with "Steam Box."

Earlier this week, Newell spoke with Star Trek and Star Wars: Episode VII director J.J. Abrams, revealing plans that the two creators will work together on future video games and movies based on Portal and Half-Life.
