Tomb Raider panel being hosted by BAFTA on Feb. 12
Tomb Raider fans can check out a special event on the franchise's latest entry, Tomb Raider, during a panel held by the British Academy of Film and Television Arts next week in London.
Co-hosted by The Guardian and BAFTA, "The Making of Tomb Raider" will feature writer Rhianna Pratchett and members of the development team from Crystal Dynamics. They will discuss the process of rebooting a franchise that's now in its 17th year, with a focus on the design, technology and story of the game.
The panel will take place at the BAFTA headquarters from 7-9:30 p.m. local time Feb. 12; tickets are available online for £5. According to publisher Square Enix, a similar event will be held at BAFTA Los Angeles "in the coming weeks."
Tomb Raider launches March 5 on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC.
