Payday 2 headed to Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and PC this summer

Payday 2, the upcoming sequel to Overkill Software's Payday: The Heist, will bring the co-op first-person shooter franchise to Xbox 360 for the first time this summer, CVG reports.

Released in 2011, Sweden-based Overkill Software's co-op shooter Payday: The Heist was available on Windows PC and PlayStation 3. Payday 2 will be released on Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC through Steam.

Starbreeze Studios, which acquired Overkill Software last year, and publisher 505 Games announced Payday 2's development last September.

Update: You can watch a just-released trailer for Payday 2 below.
