First ever game jam for cats begins on March 23
The first ever game jam developed around creating cat-friendly titles begins next weekend, cat food company Purina announced on the official registration website for the event.
Those interested in participating in the Friskies "Games for Cats Hackathon" can register for the event here, which is taking place in Los Angeles starting March 23 at 9 a.m. PDT. This weekend-long jam asks aspiring game designers to create games or apps that cats can play with.
A few hefty prizes are also up for grabs. The grand prize-winning design team will receive $15,000, while runners-up will be awarded $3,000 and $2,000 to take home.
