Dead State video demonstrates turn-based zombie combat
A video released yesterday for Dead State, DoubleBear Productions' crowdfunded turn-based role-playing game, shows how zombie survival combat will work as players live through the apocalypse.
Check out the nearly 10-minute long video above to see DoubleBear's Brian Mitsoda walk viewers through an early level, where you'll learn that lines of sight and silence are important as you scavenge the world to survive after the zombies come.
Dead State gathered $332,635 when the Kickstarter campaign ended in July 2012, well over its original $150,000 goal. The game, which puts an emphasis on resource management, is scheduled to be released in Dec. 2013 for Windows PC.
