Lego City Undercover: The Chase Begins, prequel to Wii U-exclusive title Lego City Undercover, will be available in Europe for Nintendo 3DS on April 26, Nintendo announced today.

The title will be available one month after the launch Lego City Undercover on March 28. Players will control protagonist Chase McCain on his first-ever cop job in Lego City. Players will explore the city, take down criminals and don special costumes designed to give Chase certain abilities. The 3DS' bottom touchscreen and motion sensors will be used to activate Chase's special Scanner device, allowing players to search their surroundings for clues to crack cases.

The Chase Begins, announced by Nintendo in early January, will hit 3DS in North America on April 21.
