Draw Something 2 is a reality
OMGPOP and Zynga's successful drawing app Draw Something is getting a sequel, TV host Ryan Seacrest revealed on Twitter today.
"I somehow convinced them to give me #DrawSomething2 first...this may be the best Mariah & Randy have ever looked," the American Idol host tweeted alongside a sketched picture of the show's judges, Mariah Carey and Randy Jackson.
Seacrest's tweet was quickly followed by a confirmation from OMGPOP CEO and Zynga vice president Dan Porter.
".@RyanSeacrest thanks! So excited to confirm #DrawSomething2 is coming soon w/ new ways to draw & connect," Porter tweeted with a Draw Something 2 logo, viewed above.
Polygon reported last June that the former OMGPOP title is being turned into a reality TV show by CBS.
"Each week, teams of celebrities and everyday users will test their skills in front of a studio audience to earn money and big laughs. Viewers can also play along at home for a chance to win prizes and compete with the celebrities," said CBS.
Zynga bought OMGPOP and Draw Something for $180 million in March 2012.
