Assassin's Creed 3: Tyranny of King Washington trailer pits Franklin vs. Washington
A new trailer from Ubisoft sets up the conflict in "The Betrayal," the second part of the Tyranny of King Washington DLC for Assassin's Creed 3.
Following the defeat of the British and the securing of America's fledgling independence, General George Washington instead seizes power for himself to become America's first home-born king. Washington sets up a new authoritarian regime, and it's up to a young Assassin named Ratonhnhaké:ton — Assassin's Creed 3 protagonist Connor — to set things right.
"The Betrayal" focuses on Ratonhnhaké:ton enlisting the aid of another Founding Father, Benjamin Franklin, to turn on his one-time compatriot.
"The Betrayal" will be available for download today on PC and Xbox Live today, and PSN tomorrow. The third and final part, "The Redemption," is scheduled to hit on April 23.
