BattleBlock Theater launches April 3 on XBLA for 1200 Microsoft Points
The Behemoth's BattleBlock Theater, the next game from the developer of Castle Crashers, will be released April 3 on Xbox Live Arcade for 1200 Microsoft Points ($15), the studio announced today.
That puts it squarely in the previously announced release window — last month, The Behemoth said the game would be available in spring 2013 "for real this time."
The developers promise that BattleBlock Theater players "will be able to experience technologically evil cats, friendship, betrayal, co-optional justice, and several other forms of visual and audible stimulation."
You can watch the release date announcement trailer above. It makes note of BattleBlock Theater's long development history — The Behemoth first showed the game in 2009, and has expanded its scope since then.
