Xbox 360 owners can now download apps for GameTrailers and Redbox Instant, Major Nelson announced today via blog post.

GameTrailers was announced in December 2012 as one of 43 new apps Xbox Live will receive this year. The app includes early access to Seedlings, a 12-part series taking place in the Minecraft universe, and other GT shows.

Redbox Instant was added to the roster in February. The app, which requires an Xbox Live Gold subscription, offers streaming video rentals and purchases. The app is also compatible with Kinect voice and motion commands. Redbox Instant is currently in beta and offers a monthly subscription service for users to rent from Redbox kiosks and stream content.
