Star Trek: Making the Game featurette explores game’s villains, the Gorn

A new featurette for Star Trek, the video game adaptation of J.J. Abrams' film reboot, gives viewers a quick introduction to the game's main villains, the Gorn.

Brian Miller, the senior vice president of Paramount Picutres, narrates the video, which you can watch above.

"One of the first decisions we had to make was ‘what villain do we want to bring into the game,'" Miller said. "The Gorn came to the top of the list right away. The Gorn were in one episode in the classic series called "Arena," but to this day they're one of the most popular Star Trek villains of all time."

The video also features early concept sketches and a lowdown of the never before seen female Gorn. Check out the first featurette here.

Star Trek will launch for Xbox 360, PlayStation 3 and Windows PC in North America April 23. A Europe release date is set for April 26. Two new Vulcan characters were recently introduced into the game.
