See the Nintendo references hidden in Need for Speed Most Wanted on Wii U

Need for Speed Most Wanted launched earlier this week on Wii U, and a player has found a few nods to Nintendo in that version of the game.

Check out the video above from YouTube user Kolma, who unlocked license plates referencing Mario ("Plumber"), Princess Peach ("Princess"), Yoshi ("Dinosaur") and Pokemon ("Caught Them All").

Most Wanted is also available on Windows PC, Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. According to Alex Ward, creative director of developer Criterion Games, the Wii U version is the "definitive" and "best-looking" version of the game.
