Indie PC hit Terraria is receiving a console release next week, with the Xbox 360 version being published globally on Xbox Live Arcade on March 27, and the PlayStation 3 version coming to the PlayStation Network in North America on March 26.
The action role-playing game developed by Re-Logic will be priced at 1,200 Microsoft Points on XBLA and $14.99 on PSN.
The game features both single-player and multiplayer modes and, using an immediate invite system from within an existing game, hosts can invite up to seven others to play with them co-operatively or competitively. The game supports up to eight players in multiplayer mode as well as four player split screen both locally and over XBLA and PSN. It is being published on consoles in North America by 505 Games. No European release date has been announced for the PSN version of the game.
