Temple Run launches on Windows phone 8 (update)

Temple Run is now available for Windows phone 8 after promises late last year of a release on the platform around the holidays.

Despite releasing a tad later than expected, the original Temple Run not to be confused with its recent sequel can now be found on the Windows Phone Store. This launch comes roughly 18 months after the title's release on iOS devices.

Microsoft's Windows Phone is getting a number of new additions to its roster of apps this week too. Chaos Rings, 6th Planet, Propel Man, Orcs Must Survive, Ruzzle, Fling Theory, and Drift Mania Championship 2 will all be made available in the Windows Phone Store this week. Gravity Guy 2 also launched, ahead of its release on iOS and Android.

Update: Temple Run appears to have been pulled from the Windows Phone Store. We're contacted the store for more information.
