Temple Run is now available for Windows phone 8 after promises late last year of a release on the platform around the holidays.
Despite releasing a tad later than expected, the original Temple Run — not to be confused with its recent sequel — can now be found on the Windows Phone Store. This launch comes roughly 18 months after the title's release on iOS devices.
Microsoft's Windows Phone is getting a number of new additions to its roster of apps this week too. Chaos Rings, 6th Planet, Propel Man, Orcs Must Survive, Ruzzle, Fling Theory, and Drift Mania Championship 2 will all be made available in the Windows Phone Store this week. Gravity Guy 2 also launched, ahead of its release on iOS and Android.
Update: Temple Run appears to have been pulled from the Windows Phone Store. We're contacted the store for more information.
