Neverwinter trailer introduces the frigid, frost giant infested lands of Icespire Peak

The latest trailer for Crypitic Studios' MMORPG Neverwinter tells the story of the lands around Icespire Peak where the Icehammer dwarves battle the evil Hrimnir.

In order to help the dwarves, players must destroy an evil artifact called the Winterforge by battling frost goblins, winter wolves, ice trolls and frost giants, right into the frozen body of a giant called Lakkar.

The trailer also highlights Icehammer dwarves Bolbin Ironbrow, who coordinates the Icehammer militia; Garora Oakhew, who acts as a medic and frontline soldier; and Florin Icehammer, a dwarf with ancient bloodline who wants fight to Hrimnir himself.

The free-to-play game is based in the Dungeons & Dragons: Forgotten Realms universe and will release for Windows PC at an announced date. Players can register for Neverwinter here.
