Lost Planet 3 story trailer heralds a planet's dangerous secret

A new Lost Planet 3 trailer from Capcom has been released, focusing on the game's story and characters.

Arriving on the frozen world E.D.N. III long before the events of the first Lost Planet, all Jim Peyton wanted to do was make some money as a thermal miner and return home to his family. However, an accidental encounter with other inhabitants of the world who are being hurt by the mining leads Jim to have to choose sides one way or another.

This trailer also shows off the game's Rigs, mechanical suits designed for mining and construction that are the precursors to the VS mechs found in the series' previous games.

Lost Planet 3 is scheduled for release on June 26th.
