A playable demo for co-op action game Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel will be available on PlayStation Network and the Xbox Live Marketplace on March 12, Electronic Arts announced today.
The demo sends series protagonists Alpha and Bravo through a delicate and hostile hostage situation, following them through a hidden drug lab to the rooftops on a mission to save a kidnapped politician. The pair must infiltrate the stronghold of the Cartel holding him for ransom, take down waves of cartel minions and reach their target. During the demo, the pair will split up: one to the skies to provide cover from above in a helicopter, and another headlong into battle against the Cartel on foot.
The latest trailer for the title, posted above, introduces the pair's latest enemy, a mysterious masked man called El Diablo, as well as the numerous obstacles and dangerous situations Alpha and Bravo will face.
Army of Two: The Devil's Cartel will launch on March 26 for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360.
