The PlayStation 3 version of Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance will receive 30 exclusive new VR Missions on March 12 in the U.S. and Canada, Konami announced today. The downloadable content for Platinum Games action title will be available for free until April 3.
Revengeance's new VR Missions will offer new battle challenges for Raiden, including one in which he's armed with nothing but his fists in a level designed like an "old school platformer," Platinum says. The 30 VR Missions will also feature levels in which players control a Dwarf Gekko for more stealth-based challenges.
At least two more downloadable content packs are coming to Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance, letting players take control of the metal wolf LQ-84i and Desperado cyborg Jetstream Sam.
Metal Gear Rising: Revengeance was released for PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360 on Feb. 19 in North America. A downloadable version of the game was released through the PlayStation Store earlier this week.
