The Last of Us trailer sets the scene for a deadly smuggling run

The latest trailer for The Last of Us, which debuted during last night's Walking Dead season finale, sets the stage for Joel and Ellie's escape from a zombie-surrounded quarantine zone.

The trailer posted above is the extended, red band version of the 30-second spot that aired last night on AMC, and dives a little bit deeper into the setup for the game's plot. Joel, a black market heavy, is assigned the job of smuggling something out of the city. To do so, he and Ellie will have to face off against scavengers, militiamen and the game's own horrifying take on the the walking dead: fungal-infected humans.

Check out the trailer, which features some NSFW language, above.
