Eve Online executive producer transitioning to mobile strategy

Eve Online's executive producer, Jon Lander, will move to another position at CCP to work on the company's mobile strategy, CEO Hilmar Petursson announced via blog post.

Petursson wrote that Lander's leaving will have no impact on Eve Online's upcoming 19th expansion, Odyssey, which is now under the care of CCP's senior producer and development director.

The company will look for Lander's replacement outside of CCP. According to the post, CCP has "been actively interviewing candidates" and intends for the transition to take place over the summer.

Polygon spoke with Lander late last month about Odyssey, which is expected to be released June 4.
