PlayStation Vita software update 2.11 is live, 'improves system stability'

System software update 2.11 for the PlayStation Vita is now live, according to a post on the official European PlayStation forums.

The update "improves system stability and the playback of some titles," according to the brief description on the forums from RabidWalker, an online support coordinator. Polygon has also verified that the 2.11 update, which took less than five minutes to download and install this morning, is available in North America.

The update comes on the heels of last week's 2.10 update, which added folders to the home screen, the ability to play videos in the handheld's web browser, view HTML emails and more.
