Fish Out of Water from Fruit Ninja developer Halfbrick coming April 18

The next game from the developer of mobile hits Fruit Ninja and Jetpack Joyride, a fish-tossing action game known as Fish Out of Water, will be released on Thursday, April 18 for iPhone, iPad and iPod touch, Halfbrick Studios announced today.

Fish Out of Water gives players three throws in an attempt to skip, skim and swim their way across waves in search of higher scores and better performances. The one-touch game features a diverse cast of fish and other sea life, each with their own skills in navigating the dynamic waves and weather of Halfbrick's latest game.

The game will be a universal app for iOS devices and will cost $0.99 through Apple's App Store.

Halfbrick Studios released a behind-the-scenes look at the development of Fish Out of Water alongside the game's release date announcement, which is embedded below.
