Second Life developer makes iOS title Creatorverse free-to-play

Second Life developer Linden Labs revealed its iOS title Creatorverse is now available for free, breaking away from its original paid model that priced the full mobile game at $4.99.

The game's Android and Kindle Fire versions will follow the same model shortly; however, no exact date is offered as of yet.

Creatorverse allows users to access thousands of user-made assets, while providing the tools to create their own animated creations, contraptions and mini-games. More complex designs can be created by using tools such as teleporters and motors, while the newly released thruster tool is now available for free in the game's Rocket Tool Pack.

Those who previously purchased Creatorverse will receive the Advance Creator Pack, which includes all advanced tools, for free. The pack was previously available for $4.99.
