Tactical role-playing game Agarest: Generations of War has found its way onto Steam Greenlight courtesy of European regional publisher Ghostlight.
Agarest: Generations of War takes players to the world of Agarest, where they will battle across a perilous land filled with insiduous enemies and dangerous creatures. Players will complete quests and engage in classic strategic RPG combat, as well as create new characters through the title's dating sim feature.
A collaboration between developers Idea Factory, Compile Heart and Red Entertainment, the title was published as Record of Agarest War in Japan in 2007 for PlayStation 3 and in 2008 for Xbox 360. Agarest launched on PS3 in Europe in 2009, and was brought to North America by publisher Aksys in 2010 for Xbox 360 and PS3.
The version on Greenlight will be available for Windows PC and will use the the North American Xbox 360 version and translation from Aksys. Agarest will include both mouse/keyboard and gamepad support as well as Steam achievements. Check out the trailer above for a look at the game in action.
